Where are you moving to?
A flat in France, a house in Canada or a new home in the Netherlands. Your destination determines how we prepare your move. Tell us where you are leaving from, where you are going and what needs to come along. We then plan the route and the help you need.
Moving abroad from the Netherlands? We check access to both homes and coordinate packing, transport and delivery. An overseas move also involves shipping and destination documents, among other things, which our overseas movers include in the plan. Both linked pages are in Dutch.

Only part of your belongings
Not taking your whole home? A part shipment can travel with other cargo heading the same way, using groupage transport (in Dutch). We discuss whether that suits your route and schedule.
Taking large furniture
A bed or wardrobe is sometimes better taken apart. Agree beforehand which work you need at both addresses: furniture dismantling and assembly (page in Dutch).
Your keys come later
Are your belongings leaving before your new home is available? We can bridge that gap with private storage (in Dutch). We include storage and later delivery in your moving schedule.
Packed to travel
Your belongings packed for every route
A piano or a work of art needs different protection from a box of books, so we match the packing to each item.
We wrap your belongings all round in bubble wrap, corrugated cardboard and packing paper, and use a custom-made crate for special pieces where needed. On every cross-border move, including within Europe, each box is numbered on the inventory list. For paintings and antique furniture we offer a separate service: antiques and art removals (in Dutch).

What do international movers cost?
The cost depends on what you take, the route and the work at both addresses. A few pieces of furniture to Belgium call for a different approach from a full household to Australia. So we look at your belongings and your wishes first, before you receive a quote.
Show us the loft, storeroom and garden furniture as well. Photos or a video survey help us estimate the volume. Let us know which floor you live on, whether there is a lift and where a removal van can park. The same goes for the new address.
The quote sets out what your international moving cost includes, such as packing, transport, assembly and temporary storage. We also discuss the insurance and the conditions for your route, so you can make the choices that suit your move.

Preparation
A border sometimes means extra paperwork
Europe and the European Union are not the same. Switzerland is nearby but outside the EU. So the customs documents you need depend on your country of departure, your destination and any transit countries.
De Bresser draws up the inventory list for all international removals, including within Europe. Every box gets a number and a note of what is inside. Packing some boxes yourself? Tell us what is in them. You receive a copy, so you can find your things by number. Where needed, the list is also available to customs.
Ordinary household goods moving within the EU generally need no customs declaration. Outside the EU, other procedures apply. We handle the customs formalities where they are required; you supply the necessary details and personal supporting documents. Dutch Customs explains the rules for household goods (in Dutch). Want to prepare your departure? Our emigration checklist, in Dutch and partly written for Dutch nationals, lists what you arrange for yourself, alongside the paperwork for your belongings.
Discuss special items before packing starts, such as art, alcohol or plants. Access to the property deserves attention too: a narrow street or a parking restriction can determine which equipment is needed. We go through this with you in advance.

Verhuizing zeer voorspoedig verlopen, team zeer goed op elkaar op elkaar afgestemd. Uitpakken zodanig geregeld dat na afloop alle verpakkingsmateriaal zoveel mogelijk werd meegenomen wat een ontzettende rust geeft. Afspraken worden goed nagekomen. Derde verhuizing met de Bresser, wat ons betreft van harte aan te bevelen

Wij zijn door -3- hardwerkende Haagse heren , van Brabant naar Gelderland verhuisd.
Het werd een zorgeloze dag, in no-time was de enorme hoeveelheid dozen ingepakt en werd vervolgens bij de opslagbox in een supersnel tempo , ook alles ingepakt.
In Arnhem moest alles per lift naar boven.
Fluitend werden alle dozen in de bestemde kamers gebracht.
Om 15.30 waren we verhuisd!

De mannen van de Bresser waren op het afgesproken tijdstip aanwezig en na een korte ronde zijn ze voortvarend aan de slag gegaan. In no time was het huis leeg en gingen we naar het nieuwe adres. Ondanks de uitdaging waar de verhuislift het beste geplaatst kon worden was het ook weer zo in orde. Rond 14.00 uur stond alles binnen en konden we de dozen gaan uitpakken

Met verbazing gekeken hoe efficiënt de verhuizing is gegaan . Zo'n til lift is een uitkomst, vooral als je hoog woont. Niets hoeft meer met de huislift, die vaak te klein is. De kast en het bed hoefden niet gedemonteerd te worden. Perfect.

Topmannen! Aardig, meedenkend, zorgvuldig en wat wij belangrijk vinden, een goed humeur! In voor een geintje! Wij zagen er een beetje tegen op maar zij hebben dat zeker goedgemaakt!

Behalve dat er een foutje was gemaakt wat betreft de tijd dat de verhuisdozen geleverd zouden worden en ik een paar uur voor niets heb zitten wachten is de verhuizing op zich prima gegaan. Op de afgesproken tijd was één verhuizer aanwezig; de andere twee verhuizers stonden in de file; door vakanties werd een beroep gedaan op verhuizers uit een ander deel van het land. Die ene verhuizer is gelijk aan het werk gegaan en toen de andere twee er waren ging het inladen razendsnel. Hetzelfde gold voor het uitladen op het nieuwe adres wat op 30 km van het inlaad-adres lag. De verhuizers in kwestie waren vriendelijke, beleefde en hardwerkende mannen voor wie niets teveel en niets te zwaar was. Ondanks de hoge temperaturen werd er nauwelijks tijd genomen om te pauzeren; een slokje water of een blikje fris tussendoor was voldoende voor de heren. Voor lunchtijd was alles klaar en kon ik beginnen met het uitpakken van de dozen. Het ophalen van de lege dozen een week later ging volgens afspraak.
Ook de contacten met de mensen op kantoor is altijd goed verlopen. Al met al een goede ervaring.A, Tilburg ·
